About Me

I am a retired Corrections Officer for Atlantic County Department of Public Safety; through my career I have held many positions within the department most notably Accreditation Co-manager and Fire, Safety & Sanitation Sergeant. As Accreditation manager I was instrumental in achieving accreditation by the American Correctional Institute.

I have been a Volunteer fire fighter for over 30 years and held various ranks through Assist Chief, also since 1987 I have been an Atlantic County Deputy Fire Coordinator overseeing county mutual aid and assisting in major disasters throughout the County as well as the State and beyond.

In 1994 I continued my public service and became an Emergency Medical Technician. For many years I served on our local volunteer rescue squad and after I retired from corrections hired on with Exceptional Medical Transportation.

As a member of The New Jersey Critical Incident Stress Management Team I have assisted many EMS, Fire and Police officers after traumatic situations.

In holding multiple teaching credentials I have produced many fine emergency medical technicians, fire fighters, corrections officers and police officers through various academies. I hold training credentials through the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, American Heart Association, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, New Jersey Division of Fire Safety, The New Jersey Police Training Commission and The New Jersey State Police.

I have been with Exceptional Medical Transportation for 8 years, since gaining the Atlantic City EMS contract in 2002 I have been assigned to Atlantic City Emergency Medical Services. I have served as Crew Chief and am presently Operations Manager for Atlantic City EMS operation. I have overseen the planning and execution of most all major special events and have coordinated EMS on some of the City’s most tragic disasters.

In 2003 Governor James McGreevy recognized Exceptional Medical Transportation’s staff and me for our work at the Tropicana collapse.

Atlantic City EMS division of Exceptional Medical Transportation in 2007 received the “Outstanding Private EMS Agency” award by The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Medical Services and The New Jersey Emergency Medical Services Council.
